Making The BIG EYES at another is usually thought to be the province of children. And it is. That is, of child-likeness, anyway.

Many animals do this quite naturally. And it is as adorable in them as it is in a human child.

But as God's Kids, we can also make the Big Eyes at HIM. When we do this, we must open wide. And doing this lets more Light in - donchaknow?!

The game of 'peek-a-boo!' is a bonding ritual. That it is also fun and precious does not - in any way - detract from its importance in Identification.

When our Father in Heaven Bonds with us - He Identifies us as His Own. He Claims us, and we also Claim Him! This is all part of the Spiritual 'Abba!', or 'Da-Da!'.

Discerning is using faculties for identification and discrimination. But Light is Required for Discernment. It is one thing to have Eyes2See and Ears2Hear - and quite another thing to have Learned how to USE them! This is where 'making the Big Eyes' comes in.

Today, you are supposed to 'Hear the Voice of the Lord' - (and are exhorted not to harden your heart against it, when you do!). Faith may come by Hearing, but Choice is only possible with LIGHT. Won't you take some time out today, to get quiet before the Lord and to MAKE THE BIG EYES at your Heavenly Father?
